We are looking for a Compliance Engineer to ensure our company adheres to standards, client design guidance and in-house policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing specific actions and tasks to ensure the compliance of individual design projects. Coordinating the successful completion of a variety of “Design Dependencies” to ensure that once a design project is completed, it is fully compliant with necessary guidelines and regulations, and is Ready to Build (clear of all design dependencies). A great Compliance Engineer is well-versed in guidelines and governance best practices. They are professionals of high ethical standards and work diligently to complete their duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business. The candidate must be comfortable saying “no” when necessary and be result-oriented. The goal is to preserve the company’s integrity by making sure it stays on the right course. Aspiring to achieve 100% RFT (Right First Time) on project outputs submitted to Clients. Adopting a desire to continually build on the quality of the services provided by the Wireless team.

Key Deliverables

In conjunction with the Compliance Manager and Project Managers, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of design projects.

Evaluating the efficiency of controls and assisting the wider team to improve them continuously.

Working with both Design and Build teams to ensure projects are successfully transitioned from Design to Build phase with minimal issues or problems.

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of tasks to ensure all dependencies are cleared efficiently.
  • Reporting to Design Managers and other interested parties on the progress of specific project activities.
  • Feedback audit results to Senior Managers to assist them in identifying areas for improvement.
  • Flagging issues that could lead to slippage in the progress of any particular project.
  • Maintaining excellent up-to-date records on the progress of individual activities.
  • Assisting the wider team with ensuring that forecasted deadlines can be successfully met.
  • Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues.
  • Working with the Compliance Manager to develop and continually improve compliance management processes.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate

Proven experience as a Compliance Engineer

Ability to understand and manage priorities

Computer literate, competent in Microsoft

Office

  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to compliance
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
  • An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience with ISO 9001 Quality
