About our exciting opportunity
This role offers a unique opportunity to play a vital part in our Finance Team, contributing to various essential functions. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Preparing and reviewing management reports, monthly accounts, and claims.
- Managing cash flow, balance sheet reconciliations, and Fixed Asset registers.
- Supporting the yearly audit process and compliance efforts.
- Maintaining Build Partner retention schedules and recharges
- Liaising with budget holders for effective financial management.
- Leading finance projects and assisting with system improvements.
- Overseeing the Finance Assistant and handling supplier payments.
- Organising and attending stock takes as required
This role offers a chance to make a significant impact, working closely with senior management and driving key initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Your skills and experience
- ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or fully qualified
- Proven experience in a Finance Department, including Management Accounts production
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting, Financial Control, and Sage 200 Accounts
- Experience in process management and implementing control procedures
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage your workload
- Self-motivated team player with strong collaboration skills across departments
- Ability to create and refine processes effectively
