We are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to work across Barnstaple/Bude/Tiverton and the surrounding areas to perform the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and fire alarm systems across the Cornerstone Estate.

The position is a mobile role with the requirement to travel to client sites therefore, you must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and it is either lone working or as part of a team.

Key duties to include carrying out EICR’s, minor electrical repairs & some climbing activities. Full training is provided for climbing activities.

Main Duties:

• Undertake the installation of Electrical and Fire Alarm Systems
• Undertake the maintenance of Electrical and Fire Alarm Systems
• Identify any risks and report to client
• Work on the improvement and implementation of PPM program 
• Liaise with Client on-site teams regarding on building service related issues
• Completion of required documentation as specified 
• Attend Site Meetings and Training when required
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines and report accordingly
• Co-operate with other business disciplines for the provision of multi- discipline services where required

What We Are Looking For:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• City & Guilds 2356 Part 1 & 2,
• City & Guilds 2357
• BS 7671 Electrical Regulations 18th Edition.
• City & Guilds 2391-52 Electrical inspection and Testing is desirable
• Ability to work remotely and independently
• Full UK Driving Licence – Driving can take up to 50% of the day but is paid as part of the day & not just per task
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
